THE SHABBAT provides the absolute highest level of security of any program in the world. In 2023, our kids, adults, and staff were protected by ex-special forces security team, the LVMPD, hotel security, and had the presence of one of the top fmr. IDF anti-terrorist trainers and his team. In 2024, we will have considerably more security. Even every member of hotel staff will be screened, and managed by THE SHABBAT because we bought out the entire resort.
THE SHABBAT nonprofit organization is involved with the worldwide Jewish community year-round. After October 7, we produced and sponsored the two largest Jewish, Pro-Israel rallies in Nevada History.

Aryeh Rifkin, President, has been sponsoring and hosting fundraisers for the IDF and produces an on-going self-defense class for Jewish men/boys and woman/girls.
We are truly committed to improving many areas of our program. The primary difference in 2024 is location. We bought out the entire resort. Even hotel staff is managed by us. Last year, food was catered by Resorts World. Their idea of 5-star was barely a 2-star. In 2024, we are catering it ourselves. The menu will be broader, prepared and presented much better. The juice and smoothie bar will be open all day in the tea room, which is much larger, brighter, and stocked. The 3 pools are completely private (family, men and women). We have more BBQ’s, and a lot more outdoor activities because this resort has a park in the middle. The kids program in 2024 will be much improved with professional camp counselors, more games, guided in-and-outdoor activities. Boxed lunches for excursions will be managed better. All the little and big things that were below our ideal standards have been improved.
Gambling: This resort has no gambling!
Sleeping Rooms: Alexis has 496 suites (all rooms are suites), which are on either the 1st or 2nd floor. Two-bedroom suites are 2-story.
Pools: There are 3 private pools: one pool will be dedicated to families full-time, and the other two pools will be separate for men/boys and women/girls full-time.
Meeting Rooms: We have 2 main ballrooms, a smaller Ballroom and several meeting rooms for breakout sessions. We also bought out a 300 seat “night club” with full sound stage.
Rooftop Deck: Above the ballrooms is an enormous rooftop deck overlooking the Las Vegas strip and the new Sphere. It has a capacity over one thousand people, and we can provide music up to 10 pm.
Outdoors: April/May in Las Vegas typically have the best weather. The resort’s site plan provides tremendous outdoor space comprised of landscaped grassy areas and meandering paths.
Couples and Families: Our schedule is packed from 7 am to 10 pm with activities appropriate for couples and families.
Kids Camp: Ages 2-17. Highly experienced and professional counselors. Indoor and outdoor activities.
Singles Program: THE SHABBAT is committed to producing a fantastic singles program. We are actively seeking shadchanim from communities around the world. Singles have the option to sit with singles and attend wonderful activities geared towards singles by age category.
Excursions: THE SHABBAT offers excursions to the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Red Rock Canyon, Mt. Charleston, Hoover Dam, and Valley of Fire.
Religious Level: THE SHABBAT maintains the highest quality standards of kashrus and religious observance, and welcomes a variety of observance levels.
Demographics: THE SHABBAT supplies Ashkenaz, Sephardi and Chabad siddurim and chumashim. Our programs are well attended by couples, children, and singles.
Cuisine: THE SHABBAT provides the only fully organic program on the planet. All dairy is cholav, and meat is OU/OK with Chassidish shechita. We own our own Pesadic catering equipment, and will be catering the program ourselves. We maintain the highest quality standards for grocery, menu and haimish service.
24 Tea Room: THE SHABBAT will be converting the entire restaurant for its tea room. It is bright and open with floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides with high vaulted ceilings.
Tax Deduction: We are a 501c3 Nonprofit. Therefore, we are able to issue a 40% tax deduction receipt.
Security: THE SHABBAT is working with the LVMPD (Las Vegas Metro Police Department) and private armed security to ensure a formidable and noticeable presence the duration of the program.
