We bring jewish People Together

Imagine a 5-star Shabbaton resort on the Las Vegas strip with a sign shaped like a Shabbos candle with kosher food and all the luxury amenities you expect from a 5-star Vegas resort and featuring Jewish leaders, speakers, rabbaim, musical artists, comedians, magicians, etc. We interviewed 55 of the most famous resorts in Las Vegas but only RESORTS WORLD was logistically capable. Resorts World allowed us to change automatic plumbing fixtures in public bathrooms on the ballroom floor to accommodate Shabbos observance. Our long-term relationship even provides Shabbos elevators and a full-time kosher kitchen.

RESORTS WORLD is Las Vegas’ newest, largest and most expensive resort ever built in Las Vegas at $4.3B. It is a true 5-star luxury resort.

Aryeh Avraham Rifkin President
Dear Friend,
My name is Aryeh Avraham Rifkin, and I am the President and Founder of SHABBAT INC, a 501c3 nonprofit, and producer of PASSOVER IN LAS VEGAS 2023. THE SHABBAT INC was founded to bring Jews together from a worldwide community.
Through an exclusive partnership with RESORTS WORLD, the newest and most expensive to build ($4.3B) resort in Las Vegas, we became the sole organization offering world class Jewish entertainment, kosher food, halachically accessible facilities, davening and activities in the heart of Las Vegas.
Our Passover program kicks off a year-round Shabbaton on the Las Vegas strip. We intend to leverage the Passover marketing machine to make the world aware of our existence. As a nonprofit with a resort business model we don’t have to fundraise and intend to reinvest profits back into the community. I disclose my salary is $1.00 per year.
I am a 50 yr old baal tshuvah through Chabad about 20 years, and my hashkafa is a fusion of Orthodox and Chabad. My Rav is the Yanuka, Rav Shlomo Yehuda, who is the gaon of our time and composes music worthy of praise by Dovid HaMelech himself. I enjoy listening, reading and learning with a variety of rabbaim. I daven at Chabad of Summerlin or the Kollel but am comfortable in any minyan.
Professionally, I am a career CEO / entrepreneur in the fields of architecture, engineering, mortgage banking and software technology, and my wife is a cardiac anesthesiologist and critical care (ICU) physician. Our son attends yeshiva in Los Angeles. Politically, let’s just say if you ask my pronouns we are not on the same page.

After a cancer diagnosis and laryngectomy in 2011 my focus shifted to family and community. In 2014 I founded JACLA – Jewish Activities Center of Los Angeles. What started out as a meeting spot on Pico-Robertson became the most active observant venue outside Israel in the world. Over 500 Jews attended weekly and our magazine was subscribed by over 10,000 Jews. I produced about 260 events including Shabbatonim and Pesach. Here’s a video: https://youtu.be/QRj3ldesyqI

When my wife and I moved from Los Angeles during the Covid shutdown, I saw an opportunity to bring Holiness to the Las Vegas strip. If you take away the gambling and immodesty you have the highest quality, most architecturally interesting, famous entertainment center in the world. Within 1 hour of the strip are world famous Hoover Dam, Lake Meade, Red Rock Canyon, Fire Canyon, Mt. Charleston, and beyond that is Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon.

Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing Jewish communities in the world and thousands of Jews visit Las Vegas every week. I toured 55 resorts but only one was logistically capable of producing a halachically observant Shabbaton on the Las Vegas strip.
I truly hope you will join my family and I at the first ever Passover Shabbaton in Las Vegas. We put together truly 5-star cuisine, multiple activities daily, a 20k sq ft indoor kids arena, some of the best Jewish comedians and bands in the world, and are planning on over 20 shiurim. On behalf of my family and our growing Jewish community, thank you for considering joining us.
